We’re only a few days away from Aragami 2‘s launch, and we’re extremely excited to share it with you all!
We unexpectedly ran into some hurdles with the multiplayer mode, specifically on PS4 and Xbox One.
The single-player experience across all platforms is in top shape, and those running the game on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will have a good multiplayer experience all around.
However, if you play in co-op on PS4 and Xbox One, you may experience performance issues affecting the frame rate as well as some delay in animations when entering into combat and hitting an enemy. There are many factors that come into play, including playstyle or if you play as the host or the invited in the session; yet, many may not even experience the problem at all. Still, we want to make sure all of our players have fun playing co-op with friends on all platforms, and we are working hard to deliver on that promise.
Unfortunately, the fix for PS4 and Xbox One won’t be ready by the time the game launches. We don’t want to share a specific date without being sure we can hit the goal. Aragami 2 is a sequel with a lot of new ideas for our small team, and the launch will present other challenges we will address along the way, so we must remain fluid in our approach.
It was important for us to let our community know of this matter before Aragami 2 comes out. We appreciate your patience and eagerness to play our game! We hope it is the stealth adventure you’ve been hoping for, and we will continue to keep you informed regarding future patches and hotfixes.
Thanks for your understanding and your continued support.
